It's very true that "remembering" is reliving. And when I think back to my first baby shower (nine years ago), I'm filled with wonderful memories, not only of the gifts I received but also of the people who surrounded me during those moments.
I was working when my boss came into my office to tell me we had a meeting in the conference room. I found that very strange because when we had meetings, the boss didn't come and call everyone, but rather sent his secretary. It was even stranger when your boss is one of those typical bosses who are hard to get a smile out of, and that day he was smiling.
The idea of a surprise crossed my mind, but I didn't imagine him being involved in the matter, so I ruled out a baby shower. And I was wrong, because it was a party planned for me and my baby! The entire staff was in the conference room, and there were tons of gifts around, of course... I was speechless and moved to see so much appreciation and affection, which I hadn't expected.
As a new mom, and a foreigner at that, all the gifts seemed (and were) beautiful! From an embroidered washcloth to a giant Winnie the Pooh, I still love seeing new products arriving in baby stores because I know how exciting it is to find what our babies need.
Last week, Disney Baby invited me to check out their product line, what's new and what's already on the market, and we went on a fun trip with the moms from Philly Social Media!

I also found the ever-loved Winnie the Pooh who is still and will continue to be relevant for a long time; the towels, bibs, toys and clothing in this line include Pooh and his friends.
And Minnie Mouse isn't far behind! The Graco swing, complete with its plush Winnie the Pooh cover, caught my eye for its softness, comfort, and super-soothing colors.
There are many more products that you can see on the page Disney Baby But I want to mention one that I thought was really good and that I want to try in my children's room and it is the new paint. Red, Set, Glow which provides phosphorescent lighting to the designs of the baby's or children's room.
