Delicious cake in a blender

A friend of my sister's shared this recipe, so I could have it handy and make it anytime so I have something to treat family and friends to. Personally, I like it when cakes contain butter, but this recipe is so easy to make and it's delicious!

3 cups flour
1 cup cocoa (unsweetened)
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 eggs
1 cup of milk (preferably evaporated)
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup oil
1 cup of boiling water

Preparation:

  • First, grease a medium-sized pan; it's best to have it ready before preparing the mixture.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Then all the ingredients are sifted into a large enough bowl.
  • Place the milk, oil, and two eggs in the blender, then gradually add the 2.5 cups of sugar, then the vanilla, and blend well.
  • Pour everything blended into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Then, add the boiling water (very hot, but careful).
  • Place it in the pan and bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Test for doneness using a wooden stick.

Enjoy!

    1. Thanks! We improve a little bit every year, haha. Last year I kept it super simple because I had a trip to Peru, and this year we did it together. The important thing is not to lose the tradition 🙂 Thanks for leaving your comment, friend.
