A friend of my sister's shared this recipe, so I could have it handy and make it anytime so I have something to treat family and friends to. Personally, I like it when cakes contain butter, but this recipe is so easy to make and it's delicious!
3 cups flour
1 cup cocoa (unsweetened)
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 eggs
1 cup of milk (preferably evaporated)
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup oil
1 cup of boiling water
- First, grease a medium-sized pan; it's best to have it ready before preparing the mixture.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Then all the ingredients are sifted into a large enough bowl.
- Place the milk, oil, and two eggs in the blender, then gradually add the 2.5 cups of sugar, then the vanilla, and blend well.
- Pour everything blended into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Then, add the boiling water (very hot, but careful).
- Place it in the pan and bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Test for doneness using a wooden stick.
Enjoy!

It really looks spectacularly delicious, I have to make it. Thanks for the recipe.
This cake looks delicious and is so easy to make. I'm going to keep it in mind to try it!
Thanks! We improve a little bit every year, haha. Last year I kept it super simple because I had a trip to Peru, and this year we did it together. The important thing is not to lose the tradition 🙂 Thanks for leaving your comment, friend.
